About the Name "MCBS Kalasadhan"

The name MCBS Kalasadhan reflects both the mission and vision of our institute. MCBS stands for the Missionary Congregation of the Blessed Sacrament, a religious congregation dedicated to the service of God and community. The word "Kalasadhan" is derived from the Sanskrit terms "Kala", meaning art, skill, or technique, and "Sadhan", meaning home or griham. Together, Kalasadhan translates to "a home for an artistic work" or "a means of artistic expression."

In 2023, the name MCBS Kalasadhan was suggested by Fr. Anto Puthuva MCBS, who served as the Media Councillor at that time. His insightful recommendation stems from the idea that the institute is not only a place of learning but also a platform where creativity, culture, and artistic expression flourish, guided by a spiritual mission.

The name Kalasadhan is highly relevant and apt for our institute as it symbolizes the fusion of art with spiritual purpose. Just as art has the power to transform lives and evoke deep emotions, the institute aims to nurture and harness creativity while encouraging values rooted in service, devotion, and community. The name perfectly encapsulates the institute’s focus on both the development of artistic skills and the pursuit of a higher purpose through creativity.

We believe that MCBS Kalasadhan is more than just an educational institute; it is a space for students to grow, express themselves, and contribute meaningfully to society, while being anchored in faith and spirituality.
