Our music programs include instrumental training in piano, keyboard, guitar, Western violin, classical violin, and drums, along with vocal training in Western and Carnatic music. Music is the universal language that connects us to the deeper truths of existence—its goodness, beauty, and transformative power. It heals, uplifts, and inspires, offering companionship to the soul, expanding the mind, and opening our hearts to the greater realities of life. As Don Sailers beautifully puts it, “Whatever people can say with passion and in heightened speech, they will end up singing in some form.” Just as a true conductor knows the value and potential of each instrument, so too does God, the ultimate conductor, recognize the unique worth of each of us.

A skilled musician can draw out the finest notes from an instrument, much as God brings out the hidden treasures within our lives, guiding us to perfection. Instruments, though lifeless, awaken a sense of harmony in nature, and we, as living beings endowed with free will, have the ability to attune ourselves to our divine Master.

Founder : Fr. John Paul Thekkumcherikunnel MCBS

MCBS Kalasadhan – The International Academy of Music and Arts was founded on January 7th, 2023, by Fr. John Paul Thekkumcherikunnel MCBS. A skilled sound engineer and a passionate educator, Fr. John Paul has always had a deep connection with the arts and culture. He is also an accomplished keyboardist and artist, bringing a wealth of technical and creative expertise to the institution. With a background that includes a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) and a diploma in Digital Editing and Media, Fr. John Paul’s vision for Kalasadhan is rooted in providing students with a comprehensive artistic education.

Before founding Kalasadhan, he dedicated three years as an assistant director at MCBS Kalagramam the first Music and Arts institution of MCBS Congregation, refining his leadership and educational abilities. His unwavering commitment to nurturing young talent and fostering their artistic growth serves as the driving force behind the academy’s success.
